From ancient era, a man has enjoyed a refined taste. And liquor is one principal source of that refined taste. To forget about the burdens of life, and sometimes to share joy and sometimes to be relieved of sadness, liquor has been there like a friend, like a spice of life for man.
The history of our folk liquor, which has been with us for so long, has transcended generations. In it, we find the blood-and-sweat efforts and determination of Master Cho Jung-hyung, who made liquor his companion for life.

Gocheon Museum of brewing founded in 1993 preserves and displays about 1,400 items of brewery tools and related materials collected over 40 years by Cho Jung-hyung, Important Intangible Cultural Property No.6.
